As with all of Inscryption, Act 3 is full of secrets and puzzles for you to discover in between the card battles. You'll find these both in Botopia's overworld and in PO3's "real-world" room. Think of it as something of a mix between Leshy's cabin in Act 1 and the overworld in Act 2.

Some of these puzzles are gated by progression. Therefore, we've listed out each of them in the order we were able to find and complete them. Here are all the puzzles and secrets you can in Act 3.

As soon as you're given to stand up from the table by PO3, you can complete these puzzles. To PO3's right, you'll notice two block puzzles that look similar to the ones you've seen in each of the previous acts. Below, you'll find solutions for each of them.

Solving both of these puzzles will give you access to the Mrs. Bomb Remote item and the Lonely Wizbot card. The Mrs. Bomb item lets you cover every space on the board without a card in a bomb, making it an incredibly powerful tool for clearing your enemy's board.

The Lonely Wizbot costs two energy and gives you two attack power and one health. It also moves adjacent to the last card you played if there's room, which can be a bother if you're not paying attention.

In the next room over from PO3's game board, you'll notice a set of puzzles that will open a bridge to the other side of the room. These ask you to complete two different types of Captcha puzzles.

The first set of three puzzles is easy enough. You just need to press the arrow until the Sigil is upright. The second set asks you to pick images that match the given description. They can be a bit hard to spot, so here are all three solutions:

Solving these two sets of Captcha will let you open a chest containing the Fishbot card and can pick up the Battery PO3 needs to continue the game. The Fishbot costs three Energy and gives you a one attack power, three health card with the Gift Sigil.

If you walk to PO3's left and look at the wall, the Cuckoo Clock from Act 1 will appear. You can actually do a few things with this right away, though you won't actually find out how to do one of them until later.

The first thing you should do is set the time to 11:00. You might remember this solution from Act 1 and it still works here. This time, you're given the Airborne Sigil as a clue for an upcoming puzzle.

You can also, if you want, get back the Ouroboros, though it's been renamed the Ourobot. You don't actually find this clue until much later in the game, but if you set the clock to 4:00, you'll get your prize.

If you took the time to level up the Ourobot in Act 2, we recommend doing this right away. Yes, it's technically cheating because you won't learn the code until you make it all the way to the final Uberbot's lair. However, having a card this powerful in your hand is worth it, especially if you want to take on the Secret Boss.

Speaking of the Secret Boss, you can actually encounter him relatively early. We would recommend waiting until you've built up your deck a bit, but that's up to you.

The short answer for fighting this boss is that you need to have earned the Mycologist's Key in Act 2 and then go to the Waypoint between the Beast area and the Dead area. If you move your mouse over the right down diagonal, you'll see a secret path.

Follow this arrow and you'll be able to use your key to unlock the fight. If you'd like a full breakdown, make sure to check out our How to Fight the Secret Boss section.

Before you can enter the third zone, you'll need to solve three more sets of three Captcha puzzles. These are a bit more complex than the previous puzzles, but they aren't too tough. First up, you need to select the correct emojis for the question being asked. Here are the three solutions:

Next, you'll have to do some basic math, while incorporating Inscryption's various Sigils. Here are those solutions:

Finally, you'll need to rotate puzzle pieces to be able to see which Sigil is on the screen. Once again, here are the solutions:

Once these are all finished, spin around and find the floating bot holding gems. Grab this and take it back to PO3 to move along.

Remember that Airborne Sigil we found earlier? That's going to come in handy now. Once you've reached the factory in Botopia, you'll be able to create your own custom card. If you first look to PO3's right, you'll notice there's a card there. You need to duplicate it. Here is what you need to make your card have:

  • 2 Energy
  • 1 Attack Power
  • 1 Health
  • Annoying Sigil (Alarm Clock) on the left
  • Sniper Sigil (Crosshairs) on the right

After you put that together, go back to the printer on PO3's right and check the screen. You'll see the Bifurcated Strike Sigil. Now, head into the second room where you did the first set of Sigils. On a table, you'll notice The Photographer's head.

Click it to make it spin and then click it again to use the flash. If you do this in the right place, you'll see the Skull and Crossbones Sigil. Now, you can go into the third room and input the Sigils into the totem in the corner. Here is the order they need to go in:

  • Wing (Airborne)
  • Skull and Crossbones (Touch of Death)
  • Two Arrows (Bifurcated Strike)

With this done, you'll be taken to the Green Ooze's world. Walk toward the hat and the Green Ooze will pop out. He wants you to admire his work, so go stare at the painting. Then, go back and talk to him and he should be happy that you like his art. Now, he's ready to go show it to his master.

In several areas, you'll find Holo Pelts. Often, these are found off the beaten path in different hidden areas, but you can also buy one from the store. We recommend doing your best to hunt around for them so that you can learn a bit more about Inscryption's backstory from the Trader.

However, if you need some help tracking them all down, make sure to check out our How to Find All Act 3 Holo Pelts section.

Once you take down the fourth Uberbot, you can find random images that start to pop around the map. Here, we've found one at the first item shop on the map. You can also find some secret files that give background to Inscryption's story.

We found one of them in the Dead zone and another in the Magic zone. The easiest way to find these is to search around each screen to see if there are any hidden paths to take.
